COVID-19 Immunization Requirements
In accordance with Alberta Health Services’ Immunization of Workers for COVID-19 Policy, prior to their first day of practice all contractors and AHS employees, including medical and midwifery staff are required to be fully immunized against COVID-19
Hiring Requirements
The following must be provided prior to your first day of work:
Security Screening:
Satisfactory criminal record check and/or Vulnerable Sector Search (as applicable based on position). Additionally, all employees have an ongoing duty to disclose any charges or convictions with CapitalCare.
COVID-19 Immunization:
Proof of full immunization against COVID-19. Full immunization status is achieved when 14 days have passed after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine, or the first dose of a single-dose vaccine. See our FAQs for additional information.
